Cascade is a card game. It has no reason to know anything about you, so it doesn’t.
What we collect
Nothing.
Cascade has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The only time it goes online is to sync your game records through your own iCloud account, directly with Apple. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us or to anyone else.
What Cascade keeps
Cascade keeps a few small things:
- Your game in progress, kept only on this device so you can pick up where you left off.
- A record of each finished game (the date, the mode, the scores and who won), and whether you’ve seen How to play. These are stored on your device and in your own private iCloud storage, so they follow you to your other iPhone and iPad and come back if you reinstall. If you’re not signed in to iCloud, they stay on your device.
- A count of the games you’ve won against the computer, kept only on this device and used only to decide when to ask if you’d like to rate the app on the App Store.
We never see any of it, and none of it is shared with anyone. To remove it all, delete the app, then remove Cascade’s data from iCloud in Settings, under your Apple Account, iCloud, and Storage.
Children
Cascade is made for players of all ages. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
